Large figures of the Monegasque Red Cross (CRM)

More than three million Euros of budget are necessary to run the CRM. Half of this sum, intended for the personnel costs, is provided by the Monegasque State. The CRM counts 15 permanent employees, 27 with the crib and the nursery. Prince Albert and the Environment

In his latest attempt to highlight the environment as an issue to be addressed by fellow world leaders, Prince Albert of Monaco has stepped up his campaign by launching a new foundation to stop the rise in global warming. When Prince Albert of Monaco visited the North Pole in April this year he declared that it was as part of an effort to push the environmental issue up the agenda with other world leaders. (more…)

The Saint-Roman Festival of Monaco

The festival Committee of the Saint-Roman organizes, like each summer, its traditional feasts in the Saint Martin’s day gardens, close to Porte Neuve, on the Rocher. On the menu, soup with « pistou » on July 29th, and fish soup on August 4th. Monegasques Specialties, as splash tart, pan bagna and other barbagiuan, will be also served. « Mission Enfance » and the government of Monaco mobilized for Lebanon

Whereas the UN Security Council deplores the drama of Lebanon, humane associations are mobilized on the spot to help the populations. « Mission Enfance », who has worked for 15 years in Lebanon, is one of them. Supported by the Princely Government, under the impulse of the Prince Albert II and the agreement of the national Council, the Association resolved an emergency aid of 20.000 €.

On last Saturday, at 19.00 the ASM started the season in most beautiful manners. By meeting the fans, the flag team of the ASM signed an operation of seduction. More than 3500 people had come to discover the new face of the team of the Principality.

Royal visit on Aug. 11-12 coincides with the Newport Jazz Festival and a gala benefiting The Princess Grace Foundation USA to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film ‘High Society’. New ambitions of the Monaco Spa Event

Created in 2005 under the name of European Spa Exhibition by Didier Boar, this salon of “Spa” becomes the Monaco Spa Event and especially, under this new name, posts some great ambitions. “Aids Evening” ceremony in favor of the Fight Aids Monaco association

This past Sunday at the Sporting Club of Monaco was celebrated the Aids Evening presided by SAS Princess Stéphanie accompanied by SAS Prince Albert II. All profits will be paid in favor of the Fights Aids Monaco association, created by SAS Princess Stéphanie in 2004. This organisation supported infected persons by AIDS virus and it concers Monaco and the Alpes-Maritimes area. (more…)
