The Sea Environment Laboratory of Monaco cited at the ONU

During the last general meeting of the ONY held in New York, Mr. Mohamed El Baradei, the latest Peace Nobel reward and General Director of the “International Agency of Atomic Energy”, focused about the the latest report of its firm. In his speach dedicated to many influent business men and famous companies, Mr. El Baradei namedthe “Laboratory of Sea Environment of Monaco”. According to him, this Monegasque laboratory became an international leader on the search aquatic domain for example in detecting sea flood and the absorption of the dioxyde of carbon oceans, a very important technique used to contribute to analyse climatic variations and changes. For your information, this Monegasque Laboratory was created on 1961 and its first name was “International Laboratory of Sea Radioactivity” and was located into the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. In 1986, the laboratory was integrated into the International Agency of Atomic Energy and adopted at that moment its current definitive name. Today the Laboratory of Sea Environment has its own headquarted in the Principality, assembles 30 scientifics, 30 technicians and a great number of students who practice many research.
