The Saint-Roman Festival of Monaco

The festival Committee of the Saint-Roman organizes, like each summer, its traditional feasts in the Saint Martin’s day gardens, close to Porte Neuve, on the Rocher. On the menu, soup with « pistou » on July 29th, and fish soup on August 4th. Monegasques Specialties, as splash tart, pan bagna and other barbagiuan, will be also served. The festival Committee of Saint-Roman is the oldest company of Monaco, more than centenary, according to its president, Mr. César Gasparotti. But traditions often become habits… and regulars have already grabbed the 200 seats available each evening. The festival also continues to feature for the 25th year the musical group “Les Nuits Blanches”. Guests will be able to pardon their epicurean sins by attending the Saint Roman mass and following the litanies in the Cathedral on 8th August at 6.30 p.m. and on 9th August at 11.15 a.m.
