Women’s world aquabike championship

Some of  the best sea scooter specialists took part in the event last week end in the bay of Monaco: the reigning champion Anastasia Potanina (Russia), Amy Green (United States) and Ida Alessia (Italy), who have competed against each other over two days in four disciplines: parallel slalom, ski division, runabout 1200 and free style. The future quay Louis II in the Port Hercules

The first of the four caissons that are to constitute the future quay Louis II, at the bottom of boulevard Louis II, arrived the last 21st in port Hercules. Weighing 2,500 tons, it is 42 meters long, 12 meters wide and 8 meters high (of which 5.5 m will be submerged). (more…)

A Monegasque Theatre evening at the Castel Gandolfo

On September 26, the Salle Garnier of Monaco will welcome the theatre troupe of Charles Peguy, for the last show entitled “The charity’s mystery of Jeanne d’Arc”. Works forward for the future Louis II port

The UEFA Champions League Awards

On August 24, 2006 will take place in Monaco the Awards Evening Celebration of the UEFA Champions Football League. Urgent help in favor of Libannon

Further the request of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Princely Government supported by the National Councel, decided to intervene and to provide a financial help of euro 20.000 to Libannon. This sum of money will be dedicated to the charity Monegasque association “Mission Enfance” (Childhood Mission) in order to spend it bying food and medecine for refugiated people hidden in schools or sanitarian centers in Beyrouth. “Mission Enfance” support these people in need for more than 15 years.

A new bus line in Monaco for the Summer
