Technology on insurances

The past Thursday took place in Monaco the SMCAR meeting - Syndicat Méditerranéen des Courtiers d’Assurance et Réassurance (the Mediterranean sindicate of insurers). The goal of this meeting was to expose the evolution of new technologies in favor of insurances. The Swiss brokerage firm “Swisscourtage” wants from now on to suppress the use of paper and to use a tehcnology such as the “digital” one. Indeed, this new concept should implicate a change of mentality but in the meantime offers positive aspects such as a gain of time by suppressing the writte of documents, gain of space du to less files to classify and a better security in case of an accident (fire, flood) in an insurance agency and the loss or the destruction of original documents. Mr. Matthieu Louppe, the director of the firm GED (electronic documents support) explained to many interested insurers the profit and benefit of such technology and above all how to intriduce into firms, the delays, the training and of course the price. Suisscourtage, who practices this technology, alleged that it would not come to the “has been previous method” for nothing and encourages other insurances companies to adopt it quickly.
