After an interruption during the month of August, the Principality of Monaco authorizes people loving cycles, scooters and rollers to use cycle tracks without limitation on certain Sundays. In the memory of the tragedy happened on September 11 in the United States, this past Monday, date of another sad anniversary, the key work of the Rendez-vous of September was “New York”. H.S.H. In Monaco, the company SMEAUX, the water firm of the Principality, started important road repairs on the Jardin Exotique boulevard. These repairs started this past Monday and will last around four weeks. Consequently, this already causes traffic troubles du to the cut of the street. The Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives of the Principality of Monaco has organized last week the first meeting gathering the independent French-speaking authorities charged to ensuring in their respective countries the personal data protection. This meeting brought together the representatives of 15 States, in the objective to promote the development of the data protection within the French-speaking countries, in particular with the creation of a structure allowing the co-operation between authorities of the five continents.

On 19 September, under the patronage of HSH the Sovereign Prince, the Hebrew University of Jerusalm adds its voice to the call for peace in the Middle East and sends out a message for Jews and Arabs to live in harmony in this troubled part of our world, through a preview screening of the feature film O Jerusalem attended by the team that made it.  (more…)
