16 files were received for the town planning scheme at sea to the right of the handle of the Gatekeeper. Services of the Monegasque administration and technical advisers, financial and legal will examine them to retain the candidatures which will be able to take share with the procedure of competition. Prince’s Cabinet changes at the top

After a year in the post, Jean-Luc Allavena, Director of Prince Albert II’s Cabinet, is moving on. According to a press release from the Palace, Mr. Allavena was appointed in September 2005 with a specific mission, which it says has now been accomplished. (more…)

World Security Forum in Monaco

France’s leading anti-terrorism judge Bruguiere spoke at the first day of the three-day World Security Forum in Monaco, devoted to international efforts to fight terrorism. He said Thursday it is an error to believe military force can win the “war on terrorism” — and warned that Iraq remains a magnet for Islamic extremists. (more…)
