Monaco World capital of circus

Most important and the most prestigious event in the world of the circus is without dispute the International Festival of the Circus of Monte Carlo. Since its creation by SAS the Prince Rainier III in 1974, this demonstration - chaired by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie  - presents each year the best international spectacles and rewards the artists more deserving by the famous ones. More...Exceptional numbers, but also of the records numbers for this XXXIème International Festival of the Circus! Art and the Princess Grace Hospital

Following the renovation of premises in the Princess Grace Hospital, a dozen paintings by the artist Moya are to become a permanent feature of the Gastroenterological Unit which is run by Professor Rampal. Pasted directly on the walls, the paintings will permanently enhance the décor. The “Moya Décor” was officially unveiled by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie on 15th December 2006. (more…)

We enjoyed a pre-Christmas performance of this outstanding ballet, which enthralled the audience with a fantastic, choreographed ballet performed by the talented troop and inspiring stage setting and beautiful, eccentric costumes. Town planning scheme of the littoral in Monaco: pre selection of the files

The Minister of State of Monaco, S.E. Mr. Jean-Paul Proust, officially public Friday December 22 the list of the candidates admitted returned to contribute for the town planning scheme to broad of the Principality. This first selection had been stopped a few days ago by H.S.H. the Prince Albert II. Here are candidates selected to take part in the phase of competition (list drawn up by order of deposit of the candidatures): VINCI S.A., Monte Carlo Sea Land, Monte Carlo Development Company, Fonciere Maritime SAM and Barwa. 

Selection of the candidates for the future hospital of Monaco

The project of construction of the future hospital of Monaco advances. The list of the candidates admitted to contribute was revealed to the press Friday December 22 by the Minister of State, in the presence of François Silvani, Director of the Hospital complex Princess Grace and Jean-Marie Véran, Director of the department of public works. Five groupings of control of work (on eleven candidatures) were selected. From next January, these five candidates will have four months to prepare studies of draft for the future hospital and to submit their project to the government. The prize winner of the contest will be designated with the autumn 2007. 

Monaco Budget 2007 adopted!

One knew it before even the votes but it has been officially confirmed Wednesday last evening. The primitive budget 2007 was adopted by 14 vote for and 9 abstentions. After 4 evenings more or less stormy, the primitive budget 2007 was adopted in the majority. No the surprise thus since the various commissions meet before the vote to discuss points of obstacle.

H.S.H. Prince Albert II kicked off Monaco’s Christmas festivities

Father Christmas had some early deliveries to make this week as he dropped in on Monaco’s seasonal celebrations. He joined Prince Albert and the Monegasque ruler’s sister Princess Stephanie at the royal palace for the annual Christmas Tree Party. 

H.S.H. Prince Albert II - who livened up his formal suit with a festive tie - and his youngest sibling were in the holiday mood as they helped hand out brightly wrapped presents to dozens of excited kids. The annual gift-giving marks the start of Christmas in the principality, and this year was no exception with everyone gathering for a photo call under a huge Christmas tree. With Princess Caroline absent it was left to mum-of-three Stephanie to help her brother. Both sisters have been a tower of support to Albert since he took over his father’s role in October 2005.

Grimaldi Forum Monaco to reimburse disappointed spectators

The organizers of the indoor beach soccer, which was to have taken place December 22nd at the Espace Ravel, have unfortunately cancelled the event. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco regrets the last minute cancellation and the ensuing disappointment of spectators who have already purchased tickets.
