The Principality reaches out to its neighbors

Monaco is breaking through its barriers in order to charm its regional clientele. Immediately after announcing the 2006 results, the Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority is organizing a day dedicated to the Principality in the Hippodrome of Cagnes-sur-Mer on Saturday 24th February from 11.45 a.m. Upon invitation by the Côte d’Azur Racing Club, this will be the third consecutive year that this promotional event will take place. The goal is to give an overview of activities, public establishments and private entities in Monaco within the fields of art, culture, leisure and sports. Seventeen exhibitors will be taking part, including the Monte Carlo Ballet, the Monte Carlo Masters Series, the Oceanographic Museum, the National Museum, the Exotic Garden and the Museum of Stamps and Coins. Some of them will even be giving out tickets for events they are organising. On this occasion, six of the eight horse races will be named after a Monegasque entity and their representatives will be awarding the trophies to the winners. The Grand Prix of H.S.H. Albert II will crown the award ceremony.
