Sea rowing: The Prince Albert II Challenge on Sunday 4th March in the bay of Monaco
A long swell and good weather were on the organizers’ wish list for the third edition of the Prince Albert II Challenge, which took place on Sunday 4th March in the bay of Monaco. Launched in 2005 by the water sports association and the Monegasque rowing federation, the sea rowing races qualify for the French championships and count for the Mediterranean Championship. Nearly 200 competitors from forty clubs took part in one of the rare competitions organised during the winter for this highly competitive sporting event.
