Princess Grace Hospital fighting cancer
Sophisticated new equipment thanks to Monaco’s Ecoute Cancer Réconfort. The Princess Grace Hospital - Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace (CHP) – in Monaco has a sophisticated new piece of equipment for its laboratory in the ongoing battle against cancer.
Thanks to the association Ecoute Cancer Réconfort, the hospital has taken delivery of two microscopes and a digital camera which are compatible with its digital imaging station (Tribvn®). The equipment will enable the hospital to build up a much clearer picture of what is happening to cancerous cells in each patient, allowing them to create a dossier so they can follow the development of the disease more closely and react accordingly. Other key benefits are that they will be able to transmit images directly and almost instantaneously to other experts if they need to consult on treatment, and can enter into the network of exchange with other laboratories, all of whom have one aim - to help improve treatment.
