H.S.H. Prince Albert II wishes to intensify economic relationships with Japan

Tuesday 24Th April 2007, H.S.H. Prince Albert II took part in the conference “Opportunities and Challenges in A Global Economy” organized by the economic Room of development (ICC). Facing an audience of Japanese decision-makers, H.S.H. Prince Albert II greeted the dynamism of the Japanese society which contributed to the development of a prosperous economy. H.S.H. Prince Albert reminded the main features of the economic life of Monaco, in particular the positive aspects of Monaco’s financial market and the urban development project aiming to extend the territory on the sea. The Prince underlined the vitality of the tourist activity by stressing out the importance of the Japanese market in this economy. The Prince reiterated His willingness bring both countries closer together, in particular in the field of economic cooperation. The Deputy General to tourism, Michel Bouquier and representatives of the Principality’s economic world, industrials, SBM, hotels and the Grimaldi Forum were presents at this conference.
