Corruption in Monaco assessment:Corruption: Monaco evaluated by the European Council

The evaluators at Greco (Groupe d’Etats contre la Corruption) will be in Monaco on Thursday April 18th to examine any potential gaps that exist in the principality in the prevention of corruption.

Greco was created in 1999 by the European Council to ensure that member states respect the anti-corruption norms. July last year Monaco ratified the convention on corruption and became the 46th member of Greco.

The Greco delegation will meet with Monegasque institutions, administrators and others this week. Within six months Greco will publish a report with its findings and recommendations.
