The Alexis Gruss National Circus presents “Orchestra” Fontvieille Big Top – 25th to 27th April 2008

The famous big top in Fontvieille will be hosting 4 performances by the Alexis Gruss National Circus in its show “Orchestra”, from 25th to 27th April 2008.

Alexis Gruss, a doyen of the Circus, is presenting an exceptional programme in the Fontvieille Big Top from 25th to 27th April with the “Alexis Horse” show in “Orchestra”.
Live music awaits you with trapeze artists, acrobats, tightrope walkers, jugglers, clowns, an elephant and, of course, horses.
A show for the young and old alike, not to be missed!

On the “Orchestra” programme:
Prologue
Classical Ballet – five Lusitanian stallions and five Friesian stallions
Jazz is here - acrobatic dance
A range of balancing acts – equilibrium and contortion
Rasta percussions
Airs and graces – horse dressage
The muse of the composer – aerial silks
The Toural capriole - dressage
Roy David’s jockeys

In addition, on Saturday 26th April between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., Alexis Gruss, the Riding Master, will be giving a lesson of complicity between horse and man in the Fontvieille Big Top, in the form of an “educational rehearsal” open to the public. A truly exceptional event not to be missed!
