The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Initiates “Monegasque reforestation days”

It began in January 2007…Pine, maple and olive trees were planted by H.S.H. Prince Albert II together with children from schools in Monaco and the French towns of la Turbie and Cap d’Ail, on the “Tête de Chien” massif overlooking the Principality. (more…)

Opening of the Handiplage beach site

Since the summer of 2000, the Handiplage beach site, created and managed by the Service Soroptimist Club, has enabled handicapped people and those of reduced mobility to enjoy the pleasures of swimming free of charge. This site, open to all residents and tourists aged from 10 to 90, is set up every year on the Lavrotto public beach. It is used by individuals and members of associations alike. (more…)

Over 91% of users satisfied with the public parking facilities in the Principality

In order to gain a better understanding of the perception, needs and expectations of its clientele, the Department of Public Parking Facilities conducted, a few weeks ago, what has now become its traditional satisfaction survey. A 26-point questionnaire was sent out to a cross-section of 1 000 subscribers, 364 of whom answered. “A quite decent return rate comparable to the results obtained during our 2005 campaign”, says Mr Claude Boffa, head of this Department. Following the announcement of the first wild card awarded to the Brazilian Gustavo Kuertan in March, Zeljko Franulovic on Wednesday 16th April, the Director of the Tournament and former champion in Monte Carlo, unveiled the names of the three other players who will be invited to the Masters Series Monte Carlo presented by Rolex, which will take place from 19th to 27th April 2008. Franco-Monegasque Cooperation Committee of 01/04/2008

The Franco-Monegasque Cooperation Committee met last April 1st in Paris at the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, represented on the French side by Mr Gérard Errera, the Secretary General of the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, and on the Monegasque side, by H.E. Diplomatic relations established between the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of Bulgaria

On 14th February 2008 at 11 a.m., His Exc. Mr Jacques Boisson and Her Exc. Mrs Irina Bokova, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of Bulgaria to France, signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two States. H.S.H. Prince Albert II’s visit to Asia
