The “Princess Grace Theatre” of Monaco

Environment - Monaco recycles bottle caps

In July 2004 was set up in Monaco the MC2D - Monaco Développement Durable - an association which purpose is to defend and protect the environment. This year the useful gesture is to recycle bottles caps and within the whole town, you can find appropriated places to deposit your collected caps. For the moment 800 bags of caps that is to say almost 10 tonnes of caps were collected. The MC2D (more…)

Monegasque researchers in Mongolia

The “Musée Anthropologique Préhistorique” of Monaco jast just participated to an archaelogical expedition in Mongolia with the purpose to study old relics older than 3000 years. This expedition was organised in correlation with the Achaelogical Institude of Sciences of OUrlan Baton. Monaco-Info, the TV information program

The first Monegasque cable program was created in 1995 and called “Monaco à la Une” (Monaco on live). In 2003, its title was changed to “Monaco-Info” an abbreviation of Monaco Information. Monaco-Info is a television program produced by the “Centre de Presse” - Press Center - depending on the Government department and linked to the Estate Minitry. The nights of dance in Monaco

No need to speak at lenght about the Ballets of Monte-Carlo. This dance school is famous and reputed to be excellent all over the world. After having missed 2 years because of important repairs at the “Salle Garnier”, the Ballets of Monte-Carlo will occur again at the Terrasses of the Casino for a show entitled “Nights of Dance”. An information and prevention day at the PGH in Monaco againt the cancer

The Princess Grace Hospital of Monaco organised in August a preventive information day about one of the most serious illness, the cancer. Students from the Training and Nurse Care Institute welcomed people during the whole day, answered their questions and above all make them aware that our behaviour must changed. Three students given award by the Monaco-Italy Association

It has become a tradition in the Principality. For three years now, the Monaco-Italy Association, in charge of strengthening ties between the two countries, particularly within the cultural field, has awarded grants to students at school in Monaco. This year, three of these students (who have just recently passed their baccalaureate), have received a grant to spend one month in the University for international students in Perouse, where they will be following a language course. Charlotte Bernabé (Monegasque), Alexandre Blonda (Italian) and Marc-Olivier Rinaldi (French) were selected from among the candidates put forward by the Department of National Education, a partner in this operation. The Monaco-Italy Association was founded in November 2003 and is presided over by Michel Boéri. It also strives to develop relations between Italy and the Principality in the fields of cultural, economic and voluntary spots events, in addition to art exhibitions.
