Opening of the Handiplage beach site

Since the summer of 2000, the Handiplage beach site, created and managed by the Service Soroptimist Club, has enabled handicapped people and those of reduced mobility to enjoy the pleasures of swimming free of charge. This site, open to all residents and tourists aged from 10 to 90, is set up every year on the Lavrotto public beach. It is used by individuals and members of associations alike. (more…)

Over 91% of users satisfied with the public parking facilities in the Principality

In order to gain a better understanding of the perception, needs and expectations of its clientele, the Department of Public Parking Facilities conducted, a few weeks ago, what has now become its traditional satisfaction survey. A 26-point questionnaire was sent out to a cross-section of 1 000 subscribers, 364 of whom answered. “A quite decent return rate comparable to the results obtained during our 2005 campaign”, says Mr Claude Boffa, head of this Department. Tourists confuse Munich for Monaco

Two women led themselves on a wild goose chase from Italy to Munich after arranging to meet their niece in Monaco — which in Italian can mean either the tiny principality on the French Riviera, or Bavaria’s capital.
